Group Wingmen ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this privacy policy carefully. 1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

• Upload photos to your profile or groups

3. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We may share your information in the following situations:

• With Other Users: Your profile information, group memberships, and event attendance are visible to other Group Wingmen users. Messages you send are visible to recipients.

• With Group Creators: When you request to join a group, the group creator can see your profile information to approve or deny your request.

• With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as:

• Firebase (authentication, database, storage, analytics)
• Cloud hosting providers
• Customer support services

• For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law or if we believe such action is necessary to:

• Comply with legal obligations
• Protect and defend our rights or property
• Prevent fraud or abuse
• Protect the safety of users or the public

• With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your consent.

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.

4. LOCATION INFORMATION

Group Wingmen uses location information to:

• Show you groups and events near you
• Help group creators set event locations
• Calculate distances to events and groups

You can control location access through your device settings. However, disabling location services may limit certain features of the app. We do not continuously track your location. Location is only accessed when you actively use location-based features.

5. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

Your data is stored securely using Firebase services provided by Google. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure authentication using Firebase Authentication
• Access controls and authentication for data access
• Regular security assessments

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.

If you delete your account:

• Your profile information will be deleted immediately
• Your messages may remain visible to recipients
• Your membership in groups will be removed
• Content you've shared may take some time to be fully removed from our systems

We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements.

7. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: You can access your personal information through your profile settings.

• Update: You can update your profile information at any time through the app.

• Delete: You can delete your account through Settings > Delete Account. This will permanently remove your profile and associated data.

• Opt-Out of Communications: You can manage notification preferences in Settings > Notification Preferences.

• Location: You can enable or disable location services through your device settings.

• Data Portability: You may request a copy of your data by contacting us.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). EU residents may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Group Wingmen is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under 18, please contact us immediately.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our App uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase by Google: For authentication, data storage, file storage, and analytics. Firebase's privacy policy can be found at: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

• MapKit: For location and map services, subject to Apple's privacy policy.

These third-party services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Posting the new Privacy Policy in the app
• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top
• Sending you a notification for significant changes

Group Wingmen is committed to protecting children and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This document outlines our comprehensive safety standards, reporting mechanisms, and compliance practices to ensure a safe environment for all users.

1. ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY

Group Wingmen has a zero tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We strictly prohibit:

• Any content, behavior, or communication that exploits, harms, or endangers minors
• Sharing, creating, or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Grooming, solicitation, or any form of sexual communication with minors
• Any attempt to contact or meet with minors for inappropriate purposes
• Creating accounts or accessing the app if you are under 18 years of age

2. AGE VERIFICATION AND RESTRICTIONS

Group Wingmen is strictly for users 18 years of age and older. We implement multiple safeguards:

• Age verification during account registration (date of birth required)
• Automatic account suspension for users found to be under 18
• Regular review of user profiles and content for age-appropriate material
• Prohibition of content that targets or appeals to minors

If we discover that a user is under 18, we will immediately delete their account and all associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3. REPORTING CHILD SAFETY CONCERNS

Group Wingmen allows users to report child safety concerns directly within the app. We provide multiple reporting channels:

In-App Reporting:

• Go to Profile → Settings → Safety Center → Report an Issue
• Select "Safety Concern" as the category
• Provide detailed information about the concern
• Reports are reviewed by our safety team within 24 hours

• Emergency: If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (911 in the US) immediately

All reports are taken seriously and investigated promptly. We maintain strict confidentiality while ensuring appropriate action is taken.

4. CONTENT MODERATION AND MONITORING

We use human moderation and user reporting to monitor and review content:

• Human Moderation: Our safety team reviews all reported content and user behavior
• User Reporting: Users can report inappropriate content, behavior, or safety concerns through the in-app Safety Center
• Manual Review: All reports are manually reviewed by our safety team within 24 hours
• Content Monitoring: We regularly review user profiles, group content, and messages when concerns are raised
• Photo Review: Profile photos and group images are reviewed when reported or flagged

Any content that violates our child safety standards is immediately removed, and the responsible account is permanently banned.

5. LEGAL COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING TO AUTHORITIES

Group Wingmen complies with all relevant child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

• U.S. federal laws (including the PROTECT Act and related statutes)
• State and local child protection laws
• International laws and regulations in jurisdictions where we operate
• Platform-specific requirements (Google Play, Apple App Store)

We report to regional and national authorities when we identify or receive reports of:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Suspected grooming or exploitation of minors
• Any illegal activity involving children

Reports are made to appropriate law enforcement agencies, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, and equivalent organizations in other jurisdictions. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.

6. USER EDUCATION AND PREVENTION

We actively educate users about child safety:

• Safety guidelines available in the app's Safety Center
• Clear terms of service that prohibit underage use
• Regular reminders about reporting mechanisms
• Community guidelines that emphasize safety and respect

Users are encouraged to report any suspicious behavior, inappropriate content, or safety concerns immediately.

7. ENFORCEMENT AND ACCOUNT ACTIONS

Violations of our child safety standards result in immediate and permanent consequences:

• Permanent Ban: Immediate account termination for any CSAE-related violation
• Content Removal: All violating content is deleted immediately
• Legal Action: We pursue legal action against violators when appropriate
• Device Blocking: We may block devices associated with banned accounts

There are no warnings or second chances for child safety violations. All such violations result in permanent account termination.
